In April I became involved in and exciting project to sing the male lead in a tribute show to the 60's band "The Mamas and The Papas".
The things that drew me to the project were first and foremost, the music - it's just plain fun music. The next aspect was the professional, knowledgeable people involved.
After "passing" the audition and flying to Hollywood several times in May to rehearse with the group. We staged a mini-concert at S.I.R. studios on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood Friday, June 6th.
The event drew 50 or so friends and industry contacts and was a big success (what a blast to sing in front of a great band). We also had the cameras rolling to capture the event for future promotional efforts.
Right now we are preparing for a possible 4th of July show in LA.
I've just started a Myspace page, the bands main Myspace page is located here. There are pictures and music files on these sites. I probably won't be updating this page very often from here on out, but check the Myspace pages linked above to keep up to date on the project.
